Vintage Arabian Horse Association started back in the early 1970's by a few Arabian horse owners in Napa, California. They held monthly meetings in member's homes and barns. The goal was to promote the Arabian breed, which are the same goals as today. They participated in local fairs, parades, and sponsored various horse shows. During the years VAHA has expanded its growth to Solano County, which is where the majority of our current members live today. We also have many members throughout Northern California. We continue to participate in local events and sponsor a yearly horse show. The membership is very diversified from horse showing, endurance and trail riding, to breeding for that new special Arabian. VAHA has monthly board and general membership meetings which both are opened to anyone and held at various locations. The club has an annual Summer Picnic, and Christmas Party. During the summer months many members gather for local trail rides and many participate in different poker rides. As a member, you will receive a monthly VAHA newsletter with information about club and member activities. If you're interested in joining VAHA or would like further information about the club, please contact Membership Chairperson - Christine Hildebrand at (530) 757-2142.
